Grisoft Anti-Virus Software

AVG Anti-Virus software from Grisoft has served us very well for many years. It performs well, has allowed no viruses through and has very little affect on boot up times. It does, however, affect processing times when it is actively scanning your computer for viruses - easily overcome by scheduling scans in the middle of the night, assuming you leave your computer running.

Grisoft, like many other companies, now offers more than just anti-virus software and a paid version of the anti-virus program. They even offer their own firewall.

The only software we have used from Grisoft is the anti-virus program, but the others may also be of interest to you.
