Chatting with Online Messengers
Online Messengers are a great way to communicate with friends,
family and other contacts anywhere in the world. On most of them you can
transfer files, play games, type back and forth and even carry on a verbal
conversation if you have a headset with a microphone. Or, with a webcam, you can
have a video conference - a great way to stay in touch with others.
Following are a few that we have used in the past:
MSN -
This is the online messenger we monitor all of the time.
It works well for us most of the time and we have stuck with if for several
years. To get set up, go to MSN and click
on the Messenger Button near the top. You can be set up and ready to go in
just a few minutes. The login we use there is synergysecrets - feel free to
contact us anytime.
Yahoo! -
We don't monitor this one much anymore, but we still have
the ability to log on there if that is all you have and would like to chat
with us. Just let us know and we can fire it up. Visit
Yahoo! and click on Messenger near the
top of the page. Our login here is dhaagen.
AOL/AIM -
We seldom use AOL Instant Messenger, but it does have one
big advantage - you can converse with AOL members directly. So if you are an
AOL user with no other Messengers, let us know if you would like to chat.
Our log on there is darlh. To get your own AIM program, visit
AOL and click on the AIM button near the
top.
There are others available as well - ICQ & IRC to name a
couple, but we can't monitor all of them! :) Any questions about
Online/Instant Messengers, feel free to contact us. We will help if we can.
